I am slowly reaching the finish line! Only about 5 weeks left and then exam week. How exciting, but also how depressing. I a not ready to accept the fact that my entire first semester of being an Ambassador is about over. It is going by so quickly. I am simply having the time of my life. Supporting and representing my college is a feeling that I am unable to explain. I feel so grateful.

This week, I worked an event called "STEM". It is an event held at the college for grade school children. The children come to UCBA and learn about a specific topic (i.e. physics, chemistry). This event was about physics. We worked with first graders to help them build catapults! It was a lot of fun. My team of first graders picked the team name "Popcorn Balls". We came in first place for farthest distance of a pom pom ball being launched from our team catapult. Being 21 it is difficult to sometimes remember what it was like being a first grader. One of the students asked me to go home with them to play with our catapults. When I replied with "I can't, I have to go class" She came back with "You don't have to go to class in college, it's somewhere you live with people!" I found this quite humorous. Regardless of the misconceptions 7 year olds may have about college, they all thought it was really cool that they were in the same room as us.

I'm heading into a busy week. I have a very important Biological Psychology exam coming up and good performance is a necessity!

Cheers to studying! -L
