Exciting news! This year, the University of Cincinnati (UC) inaugurated a new president. That inauguration happened on Friday, October 20th. I received an amazing opportunity to serve as a Blue Ash college representative at President Dr. Pinto's inauguration. This was an honorable and prestigious position as there were only about a total or 70 people at the event. I met some very knowledgeable people and also met fellow students from other colleges at UC, such as the college of Pharmacy. It was a great honor to be chosen to represent my college as I feel very passionate about it and have confidence that I represented the college well.

Another fun thing that happened this week is that we painted pumpkins in the English Conversation Group. My pumpkin did not win any prize (I am quite artistically challenged) but it was fun to see everyone's differing designs. I chose to paint my pumpkin in honor of the Spanish holiday Dia de Muertos (the Day of the Dead).

Classes are going well and I cannot believe that I will register for Spring classes already on October 30th! After this registration I will only have 2 more registrations to go through before Graduation of my Bachelor's degree!

Anyways, that is all for now. Come back next week to see what exciting things are going on in the Ambassador life! -L
