37.5% of the way finished with the semester! I wish that sounded more promising. During week 6 as a Student Ambassador I worked the 50th Anniversary Gala. This was an exciting event as it will only happen once! This event was open to donors, staff, alumni, and the community. It was special because as a student ambassador I am a recipient of a scholarship which one of the donors there could have possibly donated to! It was a privilege to speak to the donors and give them an idea of the types of students that strive off of their generosity. I met the President of the University of Cincinnati, President Pinto. It was quite embarrassing because I have a fractured toe and that was the first thing he asked me about. He asked what happened and I got to explaining my terribly embarrassing story of an early morning and lack of caffeine. It was an exciting experience and I am grateful to say that I was a part of history. Who knows?! Maybe at the 100th Anniversary they will show photos of the 50th! How neat.

Not much is going on academically except everything. I am progressing through the second parts of most of my courses. I am working really hard on Biological Psychology and Cognitive Neuropsychology. Those classes are my most difficult ones.

I received an email today telling me my enrollment time and date for Spring Semester classes. It is October 30th! That will come before I know it.

Anyway, stay tuned for next week! -L
