Welcome back! As I reflect upon this last week I am realizing just how quickly this semester is already unfolding. A few fun things occurred as an Ambassador this week. Tessa and I have the same Leadership Role, and finally met with Nick Castro who we will be working with this year. I will not spill all of the details, but we have a lot of great things in mind. Will we be starting up an International Student Club? Who knows...more to come later :). Prerna and I worked the Guidance Counselor Breakfast this week. It was an opportunity for local, high school Guidance Counselors to come to UC Blue Ash for a breakfast and learn more about what we have to offer. The purpose of this breakfast is that these counselors will be able to inform high school students about our college and consider it as option. I think this is a specifically important event because there are many adults who still think of us as "Raymond Walters" and where that history is so special to us all, we have evolved and that's something to share.
On to academics! Not much has gone on this week as I am preparing for my first set of exams for each course next week. This is when taking 6 classes starts to get the best of me. Procrastination was also a friend of mine this week. A friend that is not welcome! But all is well. I have faith that I will conquer these exams and continue to study on!
Until next time - L.
